The first TOP GUN SHOOT of the year took place on Sunday April 28, 2024. It was an overcast day, with temperatures in the mid to upper 60's. There was some wind and a couple of rain delays. Six people attended and the leader board now has seven categories that have been shot in.

The raffle for a $25.00 voucher good for the purchase of food and/or drink at any Kuneytown Sportsmens Club function was won by Andrea Hendrix.
Although the shoot went well and a good time was had by all. There were no youth shooters. They are the future of the shooting sports. Lets see if at the next TOP GUN SHOOT which is scheduled for Saturday June 1st we as a club can get some youth shooters to attend. There will be a Bass Pro gift card awarded to the highest score youth shooters at every Top Gun Event this year. Youth shoot will be 12-14 years old and 15-17 years old. The club will provide eye and hearing protection. The youth event will include an instructional firearms safety briefing given by Certified instructors. We encourage first time shooters to attend. There will be a youth sized rifle available.
