FINAL TOP GUN SHOOT of 2025 results

 

The FINAL TOP GUN shoot of 2025 was held Sunday December 28th it started out cold 22 degrees, constant wind with gusts to 20 mph blowing across the range from left to right, overcast ended at 33 degrees, raining and still very windy. There was about 4-8 inches of snow on the ground. The shoot was attended by only three people. They shot in five different categories. There was a heater in the shooting shed which kept it warm and toasty 70 degrees and dry.

NOTE: The 2025 TOP GUN scores end Wednesday December 31st. Also remember all scores must be witnessed by a club member. We are down to the last three days of the year.

Final TOP GUN will be Sunday December 28, 2025

 ATTENTION: The Final TOP GUN SHOOT of 2025 will be tomorrow Sunday December 28. The range has been plowed there is now a path to each target.  The front bench has been cleared of snow and the indoor bench is ready for shooters. The temperature is supposed to be above freezing at noon and staying that way the rest of the day. Starting at 11AM.

TOP GUN SHOOT CANCELLED

The final TOP GUN shoot of the year which was scheduled for Saturday December 27th has been cancelled due to snow storm. NOTE: This year's TOP GUN scores end Wednesday December 31st. Also remember all scores must be witnessed by a club member. A quick check of the weather looks like  Monday temperature will be above freezing maybe into the 40's might be the last chance to shoot for TOP GUN

Final TOP GUN SHOOT OF 2025

The Final TOP GUN SHOOT of the year is scheduled for Saturday December 27th 2025 starting at 10 AM. until all persons have shot. There is no cost to enter this event.

This event will include all 13 TOP GUN categories, with separate categories for women shooters and two categories for youth participants.                            

This event is limited to club members only, except for the youth categories which any youth can enter provided they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian on the day of the shoot.

The NYSDEC is sponsering a pheasant Hunt for women

The DEC Northern Montezuma office is partnering with Audubon and Artemis Sportswomen to throw a sponsored women’s pheasant hunt on Saturday, December 13th. The sign-up page has been posted (https://www.register-ed.com/events/view/237021) and registration is open. Please forward this along to women who might be interested, including novice and junior hunters. We have some great guides signed up to help and big plans for a wild game taco bar for lunch.
